OPS Solutions completed the last part of the construction of 8 ultra filtration vessels for Veolia in February 2021.
These pressure vessels are used in water injection systems as part of a Seawater Ultra-filtration system, on board a FPSO.
The design ensures low weight compared to steel and low maintenance cost for the composite structure. The vessels are manufactured by using filament winding process, an advanced stable process providing excellent quality and process control.
The vessels with a diameter in excess of 2 meters have a DNVGL C501 design code and are approved by ABS. These type IV composite pressure vessels have a category IV PED certificate.
